Context / Problem
HyperBuilder is a web-based parametric design app that transforms complex architectural modeling into a seamless, rapid-iteration process. Powered by a robust Grasshopper backend, it allows users to effortlessly generate, evaluate, and configure complex building massings and program distributions through a highly intuitive, simple interface.
Methodology
The tool features interactive parametric inputs with drag-and-drop canvas for site massing, intuitive sliders for building geometry, and dynamic tables for program and core distribution. Real-time 3D generation with an integrated iteration gallery to instantly browse, save, and revert to previous design versions.
Results
The platform features a dedicated parameter and input panel, a viewport with an interactive Edit Mode, and a lateral data dashboard with architectural program insights and a comprehensive version history.
Conclusions
HyperBuilder demonstrates that cloud-based parametric tools can democratize complex architectural design workflows, enabling rapid iteration with real-time analytics and seamless user experience.
